Since moving to Ireland in 2007, he has spent the past 10 years building up a successful fertility consultancy based in South Dublin, dedicating his career to completing families for patients who are having difficulty conceiving, recurrent miscarriages, seeking IVF, or indeed just wish to conceive at the later stages of fertility. Kent is an independent consultant and works with the leading fertility institutions in Ireland and overseas
Over his lifetime, he was inspired by 3 extraordinary Doctors
Sir Prof. Graham ‘Mont’ Liggins was his mentor at Auckland Medical School, and the man who instigated the use of maternal steroids in pre-term labour, to improve neonatal pulmonary (lung) function
As a junior doctor, Kent was inspired by the work and teaching of Prof. Lesley Regan who is the world authority on the management of recurrent mis-carriage.
And perhaps the greatest influence of all..his father Rev. Dr. Ronald Ayers BA MBChB FRCS FRCGP, a thoroughly devoted and well loved physician
